I’ve just really noticed the birds lately!
They sing at night when I go to bed.
They sing in the morning as the sun rises.
In the tree by my window, I can hear them flapping. Sometimes, I see them fly up and into the eaves.
There was this really interesting black and white bird that I’ve never seen before! I think it was a warbler! And now that I’m looking up birds here, that yellow one I saw fly over my car might have been a goldfinch!
Also, butterflies.
A friend and I were walking a neighborhood and for a moment we looked up and there was a butterfly, flitting about in the dusk.
