To write a poem with no adjectives
I exercise my creative muscles by setting ridiculous boundaries
To write a poem w/ no adjectives
Deny the bread its salt.
Deny the cake its vanilla.
Flavor has no wasteland to be
exiled in because no words
exist to shape it. If no
taste, then no smell. Only
touch and sight and sound.
But even that is eradicated
when there are no adjectives.
Sound becomes … what does
sound become? What do we
all become when you have
no adjectives?
